What Can I Expect During My Moped Rental?

You will be given a map and tips of tours to take around your island, but here are some of the best sights Hawaii has to offer to explore Oahu.

You will probably start your tour by the famous Waikiki in Honolulu. From Waikiki, you can travel around the Hawaiian landmark Diamond Head. A tour around the Diamond Head crater will take you on a three-mile cruise along the coast.

A hike up Diamond Head can be done in about two hours, but if this isn’t your thing, a moped tour is just as fun. From there, your moped tour can take you to the picturesque Hanauma Bay. From Waikiki, it is a 12-mile coastal journey, allowing you to appreciate the island’s natural beauty before you arrive at this gem that is known as Hanauma Bay.

This volcanic cone, which you can see beautifully from a helicopter tour in Oahu, is now a ring-shaped ecosystem for some of Hawaii’s most precious wildlife. You may choose to do a snorkeling tour here and witness the amazing reefs and fish that call Hanauma Bay home. From there, you can pass the Halona Blowhole, watching nature shoot water 30 feet into the air, and then the famous Sandy Beach.

A bit further up the coast is the Makapu’u Lighthouse. Further on from that along the coast is Waimanalo and Kailua Bay where you can relax and have a great experience on one of Oahu’s most beautiful beaches before going back to Honolulu/Waikiki or traveling up to the North Shore.

If you’ve decided to travel up to the North Shore, be prepared for a long day as it is a 120-mile trip along the coast from Waikiki as the moped cannot be taken on the highways. However, it will probably be the most scenic trip you have ever taken to have a great time!
